Home Minister Addresses Sahakar Kisan Sammelan in Gangapur City, Rajasthan

Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, delivered a powerful address at the Sahakar Kisan Sammelan held in Gangapur City, Rajasthan. This significant event witnessed the presence of esteemed guests including Speaker of Lok Sabha, Shri Om Birla, Chairman of IFFCO, Shri Dileep Sanghani, and several other dignitaries.
In his insightful speech, Shri Amit Shah highlighted the historic steps taken by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to empower the farming community. He emphasized the profound impact of forming a dedicated Ministry of Cooperation to address the long-standing demands of the nation’s farmers. Shri Amit Shah also commended Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership, citing remarkable achievements such as the establishment of the separate Ministry of Cooperation and the successful Chandrayaan-3 mission landing on the Moon’s South Pole.
Shri Shah underscored the immense pride felt by the nation as India became the first country to reach the Moon’s Southern Pole, a testament to the renewed vigor and confidence infused into the space mission by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Union Minister of Cooperation elaborated on the government’s commitment to farmers’ welfare through digital initiatives. He highlighted the direct financial support of Rs. 6000 provided to every farmer in the country, along with significant efforts in the areas of agricultural loans and crop insurance. The Minister also highlighted the substantial increase in the agriculture budget from Rs. 22,000 crores to 1,25,000 crores and the significant rise in agricultural production and procurement of wheat and mustard, thanks to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s visionary policies.
Shri Amit Shah elaborated on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s initiatives to strengthen the Primary Agriculture Credit Society (PACS) network across the country. He emphasized the role of IFFCO in supporting over 3500 cooperative societies and the government’s ambitious plan to establish two lakh new Primary Agriculture Credit Societies, ensuring a PACS in every panchayat.
Furthermore, Shri Shah highlighted the creation of three new cooperative societies aimed at providing quality seeds, facilitating exports, and promoting organic farming. The Home Minister also lauded Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s role as a ‘KisanMitra’ by ensuring direct benefit transfers of Rs. 6000 to farmers’ bank accounts across the nation.
By addressing the Sahakar Kisan Sammelan, Shri Amit Shah reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to the welfare and prosperity of India’s farming community, driving forward the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
