Smt. Meenakshi Das Nath, ACS (DR 1992), currently serves as the Secretary of the Revenue & Disaster Management Department, Assam, and also holds the position of Additional CEO at the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA). The government has entrusted her with the additional responsibility of Project Director for the Assam Integrated River Basin Management Project.

This project operates under the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) within the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA), Kamrup (M). Her expanded role highlights the strong trust and confidence the government places in her expertise and leadership abilities. By entrusting her with this critical initiative, the authorities recognize her capability to effectively oversee the complex challenges involved. The Assam Integrated River Basin Management Project seeks to manage the state’s river basins sustainably, addressing environmental, social, and economic issues. Her leadership will ensure coordinated efforts and strategic planning to balance development with ecological preservation.
