National Academy of Direct Taxes Regional Campus and National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics Zonal Training Institute have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in training, knowledge sharing, and capacity building initiatives.
The agreement aims to enhance institutional collaboration between the two premier government training institutes by promoting joint learning programmes, faculty exchange, and professional development activities for officers and staff members.
Officials stated that the MoU focuses on improving the quality of training through shared expertise, modern learning methodologies, and coordinated academic activities. Both institutions will work together in areas related to taxation, administration, public policy, digital governance, and leadership development.
The collaboration is expected to help officers gain better exposure to evolving taxation systems, regulatory frameworks, and governance practices. The partnership will also encourage the exchange of best practices and innovative approaches in training delivery.
Senior officials from both institutions emphasized that continuous learning and skill enhancement are essential for efficient public administration and effective implementation of government policies. They highlighted that the agreement would contribute to building a more competent and future-ready workforce in the taxation and revenue sectors.
The MoU also includes provisions for organizing workshops, seminars, research programmes, and specialized training sessions on emerging areas such as technology-driven administration, data analytics, and digital compliance systems.
